What the Buddha Knows of Concrete

by Sonya Huber This essay is a snapshot of a ”Women in Buddhism” conference I attended in Chicago when my son was two. I was attempting to understand what Buddhism meant to my life, and what my motives were in seeking dharma. I was suspicious of seeking ”escape,” and I found in the conference the beginning of an understanding of dharma as a life path that welcomed engagement with real life.
